Bob Poresky

Bob Poresky has spent over 35 years developing and teaching the principles and philosophies of unarmed self defense. He began his
intensive study in 1974 and has mastered several empty hand and hand held weapon disciplines. His diverse and extensive instructional experience includes teaching traditional martial arts, self defense and specialized classes to private, local, state and federal law enforcement professionals.

The teaching philosophy Bob encompasses is based on using the philosophical and technical aspects of the martial arts as tools to empower individuals to handle everyday defensive situations. This method of instruction provides sustained learning of a true martial ability, covering all aspects of self-defense and incorporates a mind-body connection to develop strength and self-confidence.

Bob’s credentials include black belt ranking in several Martial Disciplines and he has been awarded Master level certification.

 

Mark

Mark Lamont

Mark Lamont has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from New York Medical College as well as extensive martial arts training. Over the last 30 years he has been training and teaching self defense principles and techniques. His background in exercise science has given him an in-depth understanding of human performance and physical conditioning as they relate to unarmed combat.

Mark‘s philosophy on combatives begins with the importance of awareness and avoidance.  When conflict is unavoidable he teaches techniques that are simple, effective and easy to recall. The combination of martial training and exercise science that Mark stresses provides a unique perspective on unarmed combat.

Since 1978, Mark has studied several martial disciplines achieving advanced black belt ranking and teaching certification.
